A Barcelona attraction built in the Modernisme style.
Casa Amatller is an important attraction of Barcelona's modernist architecture. Constructed in a cubical design with a Dutch gable, Casa Amatller is the product of Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Distinct amongst its neighbors, Casa Amatller is a unique display of sculptures, ceramic, and wrought iron.
One of the three influential Modernist buildings in Barcelona, Casa Amatller meshes Flemish Gothic and Catalan architecture and design. Cadafalch's own hobbies of glass-blowing and photography are incorporated into the architecture of Casa Amatller, adding interest and history to this early 20th century building.
