Description
A Barcelona hop-on hop-off bus lets you build your own day: ride the open-top upper deck, get off where something catches your eye and board the next bus when you are ready. Two routes share the city, and between them they cover 35 stops. Your ticket is valid for 24 or 48 hours, and the 48-hour version has to be used on consecutive days.
The Red Route runs from Plaça de Catalunya to the hill of Montjuïc and on to the seafront, and takes in:
- Sagrada Família, seen from the top deck
- Montjuïc, on foot or by cable car
- Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, for Romanesque art
- La Rambla, the port and the seafront beaches
The Blue Route heads uptown, with stops at Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, Park Güell, the Monestir de Pedralbes and the stadium of FC Barcelona. Each route takes about two hours to complete without getting off.
Headphones play audio commentary in 16 languages, there is free Wi-Fi on board and a city map comes with the ticket. Entry to the attractions, food and drink are not included. The voucher can be shown on a phone or printed and works at any stop along the way.
