Barcelona Aquarium tickets open the renewed L'Aquàrium at Port Vell, with an 80-metre tunnel through the shark-filled Oceanarium, an immersive room and interactive play for every age.
Barcelona Aquarium tickets let you into L'Aquàrium at Port Vell, recently transformed to blend technology, emotion and marine education. At the start, the largest interactive digital floor in Europe welcomes you, and Journey to the Depths, a room found nowhere else, sends you through underwater ecosystems aboard the SubAqua Explorer.
Beyond it, over 80 aquariums, Mediterranean and tropical, line the route. The Mediterranean takes centre stage with areas based on the Medes Islands and the Ebro Delta, and you may spot elusive sea dragons.
- The Oceanarium, 5 metres deep and 36 metres across, crossed by an 80-metre transparent tunnel among sharks, gilt heads and morays
- A new mangrove zone with games and sensory installations
- Aqua Protectors, where children design a digital fish and see it swim in a virtual sea

Texts are in Catalan, Spanish, English and French, and a café and shop wait at the end. It works well for families and anyone who likes to learn by touching and playing. Extra activities are not included.
