Sir Norman Foster created the illustrious Torre de Collserola, which stands 288m tall and was finished in 1992. An exterior glass lift takes visitors to the 115m-high observation area, affording them stunning views that span up to 70km on a clear day. Barcelona's TV and radio broadcasts, plus the repeater stations found across Catalonia, are operated from this tower. Guided tours of Torre de Collserola last 25 minutes and require prior booking.
