Architectural treasures, art and more

Poble Espanyol is an architectural museum complex, one of the top attractions of Barcelona. It is ideally located not far from the iconic Fountains of Montjuïc, and boasts no less than 117 structures, housing museums, galleries, a theater, restaurants, shops and more.

Poble Espanyol is organized like a real village, with beautifully landscaped squares, streets and gardens. The first buildings were erected in 1929, based on an architectural concept by Francesc Folguera and Ramon Reventó. It is supposed to embody the cultural essence of Spain.
