Description
Constructed in the late 18th century by Italian engineer Domenico Bagutti for Joan Antoni Desvalls, the Marquès d’Alfarràs i de Llupià, Parc de la Creueta del Coll is a beautiful and historic park located at the foot of the Collserola hills. For centuries, it remained a peaceful family idyll until the 1970s. Featuring a stunning central cypress-hedge labyrinth, visitors can also explore pathways past a lake, waterfalls, a neoclassical pavilion and a false cemetery, inspired by 19th-century romanticism. Easily accessible, the park is just a 20-minute ride from Plaça de Catalunya on metro line 2.
