Shoes and tools used in the trade

Museu del Calçat traces the history of footwear, with an interesting collection of shoes from the 2nd century to the present day, some reproductions, and some authentic. Visitors can also see traditional tools, machinery and leather used in the trade.

Museu del Calçat also features a section dedicated to shoes worn by famous personalities, and even the largest shoe in the world, made to fit the foot of the statue of Columbus near the harbor.
