Recreational area, also known as Parc de Montjuïc

Originally a medieval Jewish cemetery, the Mountain of the Jews (Montjuïc) overlooks the city of Barcelona. As a historic and consecrated land for the Jewish Spanish people of Barcelona, this site carries a lot of meaning for many visitors.

At the Mountain of the Jews (Montjuïc), you will find a fort as well, giving another aspect of the site to explore and appreciate. Though the fortress is now a public park - Parc de Montjuïc, you can still read some of the tombstones at the Historical Museum of Barcelona. The Mountain of the Jews overlooks the western side of Barcelona.
