Medieval architecture

La Ribera is part of the Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera quarter in Barcelona. It is worthy of attention for its Medieval architecture, as well as for its popular tourist attractions, including Museu Picasso, and Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar.

La Ribera is also the site of the famous El Born area, one of the most touristy places in the city, lined up with trendy bars, restaurant and cafes, but also with upscale shopping boutiques.
