These hillside gardens, which are dedicated to Mediterranean flora, contain a remarkable 40,000 plants and 1500 species, many of which are native to areas with a climate similar to that of the Mediterranean, such as the Canary Islands, North Africa, Australia, California, Chile and South Africa.
