A hospital with awesome architecture

About five minutes away from The Sagrada Familia, Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (Hospital of the Holy Cross and Saint Paul) is a tourist attraction and a functioning hospital. You can even go inside and take a look around.

Tours are also available, which will take you to sections of the older buildings that aren't open to the general public. The Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau buildings are architecturally fascinating, providing a great example of Catalan modernism designed by Montaner.
