Fundació Antoni Tàpies

The late Antoni Tàpies, a renowned 20th-century Catalan artist, left behind a rich legacy featuring a powerful range of paintings and a foundation dedicated to the promotion of modern-day artists. This legacy is housed in the unique Fundació Antoni Tàpies, a pioneering Modernista building which was completed in the early 1880s. Tàpies passed away in February 2012 at the age of 88.
