Description
This Sagrada Família guided tour comes with fast-track entry, so your admission is arranged before you arrive. You meet next to the basilica, where a guide from the office walks you over, and the visit takes around 90 minutes. Headsets let you hear the explanations while you move freely around the nave.
Inside, the guide talks about the history of the building and the symbolism of an interior inspired by natural wonders. Outside, you walk around the façades and look at their detail, learning how architecture and spirituality fit together in Gaudí's work.
- The nave, explained on your headset
- The outer façades
- The museum, which you can visit after the tour
The museum tells the story of the basilica through drawings, models and pictures, and adds information on Gaudí's life and career. The towers are not included. As this is a Catholic church, tank tops, short shorts, flip-flops and sandals are not accepted. Bags are checked at the entrance, and security can lengthen the wait on some days.
