Description
A sunset paddle surf session in Barcelona lets you see the city from the water as the light changes. The activity is guided, suits every level and needs no previous experience, and it lasts around an hour and a half.
You meet at the paddle school and walk to the beach, where the instructor explains the equipment, the basics of balance and how to paddle before you step onto the board. Then the group sets off from Playa de San Miguel and glides towards Playa de San Sebastián, at an easy pace and always following the guide.
The route reaches the area around the W Barcelona hotel, one of the city's most recognisable buildings. When the sea allows it, there is a pause to rest on the board or slip into the water for a swim. Afterwards everyone paddles back to the start. The groups are small, which makes it easier to hear the instructor.

Bring a swimsuit, flip-flops and a towel. The tour is not recommended if you are prone to seasickness, and it is cancelled only for a thunderstorm, with a refund.
