Description
A sailing tour in Barcelona puts the city's skyline in front of you from the water. The boat leaves Marina Vela, the crew greets you on deck, and within minutes the noise of the streets is behind you.
The route follows the coast for about two hours, with Sagrada Familia, Montjuïc and the Gothic Quarter seen from the sea. A skipper handles the sailing while you sit back with an open bar of wine, cava, beer and soft drinks, plus traditional local snacks. Music sets the mood: you can connect your own playlist or listen to the one the captain or DJ has put together.
- Wine, cava, beer and soft drinks poured freely, with local snacks to go with them
- Small yachts, with up to 9 or 10 guests on each boat
- A choice of morning, sunny afternoon or golden-hour departures
- Stand-up paddle board, water toys and snorkelling gear for the swim stop
When the weather is warm and sunny, the yacht drops anchor so you can swim, paddle or float for a while. It is a bonus rather than a promise, since it depends on the sea and the sky that day. Pick-up and drop-off are not included, so plan your way to the marina. The skipper speaks English and Spanish, and the format suits couples and friends who want to spend a couple of hours on the water.
