Description
On this Sagrada Familia guided tour, a guide meets you outside the basilica, gives a short introduction and leads you to the entrance. You can book a group visit or a private one, and tickets are included, so you skip the ticket line.
After the security check, the Nativity Façade comes first, the earliest section to be finished. Inside, coloured light pours through the stained glass onto a forest of branch-like columns, just as Gaudí intended: a walk among trees, with sunlight filtering through leaves. Along the way the guide explains how the building is still going up, when it is expected to be finished, and how successive craftspeople, architects and artists learned to carry out his vision.
