Description
This flamenco show in Barcelona takes place at the City Hall Theatre, Rambla Catalunya 2, once the Teatro de Barcelona. Flamenco has UNESCO World Heritage status, and the hour on stage combines dance, guitar, percussion and song in an intense, improvised atmosphere.
The building adds to the character: this early 19th-century theatre keeps a stage ringed by light bulbs, velvet drapes and its original stage machinery. Improvised jam sessions add to the feeling on stage. The programme leans on traditional forms: the fast Bulerías and the Soleás, solo guitar, percussion, face-to-face duels and singing in its purest form.

The theatre is in an older building, with stairs up to the room and no lift. A drink, or cava or wine by the bottle, can be added if you choose that option when booking.
