Description
This Gaudí tour in Barcelona takes you through the architect's best-known works with tickets already booked, so you spend your time inside rather than in line. There are two options: the Complete Gaudí Tour, which runs for around five and a half hours, and a shorter Highlights version of about three and a half.
You start at Casa Batlló, where the guide points out details such as the building's 'gills' and the way the tiles play with the light. You then see the outside of Casa Milà, and learn how it earned its nickname, the Stone Quarry.
On the full tour you continue to Park Güell with skip-the-line access, a mix of colour and organic forms. A private minibus (or the metro on the Highlights option) then takes you to the Sagrada Família, where you spend a full hour inside, and also go down to the museum to see drawings, models and calculations, with a clear view of Gaudí's tomb.
